Si vous avez déjà cherché le paradis sur terre, l’ ile des embiez est ce qu’il vous faut. À 12 minutes en bateau de Six Fours les Plages, cette petite île merveilleuse vous attend ! Ce bout de terre qui appartient à la famille Ricard (on le dit jamais assez que le pastis a du bon) a été aménagé avec des hôtels, un port, des plages, magasins, mais reste néanmoins très sauvage et boisé. C’est un plaisir de se lever le matin et de faire le tour de l’île que ce soit en courant, en vélo ou même en trottinette ! Cette route qui monte jusqu’au sommet de l’île ou des chèvres vivent, qui surplombe des criques, des plages, passe par des bois de pins, des vignes pour arriver dans le centre avec ses commerces, ses terrains de tennis, de foot… bref, pas le temps de s’ennuyer.
Apparemment cette île merveilleuse est fréquentée depuis le Ve siècle avant J-C, et je pense que ce n’est pas maintenant que ça va s’arrêter.

Jeśli kiedykolwiek próbowaliście znaleźć miejsce, które odpowiadałoby wyrażeniu ‘raj na ziemi’ to to jest właśnie takie miejsce. Dostać się tam można już w 12 minut z portu rybackiego w Six Fours les Plages. Ten kawałek ziemi należy do rodziny Ricard (producentów pastis’u, likieru o smaku anyżowym, który we Francji pije się w takich ilościach jak piwo w Polsce). Jest sporo hoteli, duży port, kilka sklepów i restauracji, ale mimo wszystko wyspa zachowała swój dziki charakter. Codziennie rano, wstawaliśmy zanim jeszcze było za ciepło, wskakiwaliśmy w sportowe obuwie i obiegaliśmy całą wyspę wkoło. Nigdy, przenigdy nie biegałam w lepszych i przyjemniejszych dla oka warunkach! Jedni spędzali całe dnie na polu do siatkówki, drudzy grali w tenisa, poza tym dla tych co lubili była plaża, dla innych nurkowanie, a dla wszystkich pyszne owoce morza, cudowne zachody no i hulajnoga jako jedyny środek transportu !

Have you ever thought about the place that actually could be called the ‘paradise on earth’? Well, believe me, ile des embiez is this kind of place. And it takes only 12 minutes of boat to get on this paradisiac island, from the port of Six Fours les Plages. The whole island belongs to the family of the Ricards- the owners of famous French alcohol, pastis. They established there many hotels, quite a big port, a few shops and restaurants, nevertheless everything kept its natural and wild side. Staying there, every single morning we were waking up, before the sun was too high, and were going for a run all around the island. Never, ever was I running in such a place! What a bliss! For the rest of the day, some were spending their time playing volleyball, the others playing tennis, then tanning or diving. But what the island offers to everybody, are the delicious sea fruits, marvelous sunsets and the most awesome of all, a scooter as the only means of transport !
